Q What are your ways of helping with diabetes type 2?

A Type 2 diabetes is very much a diet related disease. The key is sugar control.Sugar = glucose, fructose, lactose; in fact any chemicals that end in 'ose'. Starch is made from sugar-chains and is converted to sugar in the mouth and stomach. Starch must also be controlled.
As a rule of thumb I suggest type 2 diabetics stick to a diet high in good quality animal proteins and fats, above ground vegetables and no more than 3 pieces of fruit a day. Snack on raw nuts if you need to. Raw dairy is ok in small quantities if you can tolerate it.

A Hi there.
My approach is very indiviualised, so it is hard to be precise, but: Initially I would do complete review of diet/nutrition to identify likelihood of specific deficiencies or excesses of specific nutrients. The consideration of other health and lifestyle patterns would guide the rest of the treatment plan.
I can work with nutrition, herbal medicine and other modalities and am guided by the client in this regard.

Hope this helps. - don't hesitate to give me a call if you want clarification.

Kind regards
Sharon
