Q what would be an effective therapy for alcoholism to achieve sobriety?

A Good on you for accepting the problem and making the decision to change! Well done!
There are many programs around - the key is to identify the triggers and background issues that led to the addiction. Alcoholics Anonymous offers and great support network. I would be very willing to support your body to heal from the effects of the alcohol.
Kind regards
Sharon

A In Russia they use ozone therapy to help people come off alcohol (and other) addictions so that may be worth looking into for you. Apart from that it's beneficially helpful to take a look at your life and how you can improve it. Ultimately it would be useful to know why you drink in the first place and remedy the cause if you can. Maybe take up a new interest or try and be helpful to someone else around you. New outlooks on life can take you in another direction.
Best of luck and "Go well"
