Homeopathy

Leila Joffe has had over 25 years of extensive experience as a teacher, trainer,  therapist and classical homeopath working with both adults, children and families in various education and health contexts in both New Zealand and internationally.

Her work as a homeopath  started in Mexico City, where she was introduced to Homeopathy by Dr Jose Matuk and Dr Jacques Imberecht. Availing herself of training in The Netherlands at Frans Vermeulen’s school of Homeopathy, Leila went on to do post graduate work with Alize Timmerman and Jeremy Sherr as well as attending seminars and workshops in India to study with Dr Rajan Sankaran.

After working in Antwerp, Belgium for a few years, Leila and her family immigrated to Auckland, New Zealand where she now has her private practice. She taught at the Wellington college of Homeopathy and regularly gives lectures at the Society of Classical Homeopaths.

Leila started a unique system of holding a children’s clinic with a colleague where one takes the case and the other observes and together the two homeopaths diagnose and prescribe. The children clinic was created with the intention of providing homeopathic consultations to families from all walks of life . This method has been adopted in  many cities of New Zealand.

Leila attends the International Conference for Homeopathy in The Hague every two years working in close collaboration with Alize Timmerman to introduce the latest developments in Homeopathy as well as teaching new Materia Medica to homeopaths in New Zealand.

Leila runs two proving groups. One is with trained and experienced Classical homeopaths and the second group is dedicated to working , proving and documenting new remedies with a group of holistic health practitioners other than homeopaths.

Since 2006 Leila has also been training to facilitate Family constellations, a systemic family therapy developed by Bert Hellinger.  Using this in the practice has deepened and amplified and  serves to provide a spiritual platform with which to embrace her clinical and teaching work.

Marrying both her Health and Education backgrounds, Leila has been a founding Director of two companies. Bodhi Education Consultants and Andromeda333.
