Rixt's Herbals

Rixt Botello has been practicing as a registered Medical Herbalist, Aromatherapist, Bach Flower Practitioner and tutor in all these subjects and others nationwide at Herbal, Naturopathic, Massage Colleges and also privately run courses for the past 20 years.

A “grass roots” herbalist she has an affinity with her plants and gathers her medicine as needed. She has learned the “art” of plant language in regards to Doctrine of Signatures and other means.

Rixt beliefs that healing of ourselves lies within us. And with support and guidance, everyone can empower themselves to a healthy state of balance. She uses a variety of modalities to aid balance back into life.

Rixt Botello specializes in mental health problems which includes drug addiction and also with pregnancy, childbirth and children, but also treats any other conditions or ailments.

Her love for children’s health and our future has encouraged her to write an Herbal Book for children to use and read themselves. The final art work is in completion at this moment in time and anticipated to be  published in 2010. She is currently also completing a book on Gorse and its many uses both on the farm, healing (Bach and herbal) as well as in the kitchen.
And she is writing a book on Herbal Drop Dosage Methodology, the history, philosophy and uses.

Rixt and her family live on a 50 acre farm and native bush where she gathers some of her medicines for her cottage industry of herbal healing products, creams and oils.
