For more than a decade I have been working within organisations
coaching and mentoring people around me to achieve their aspirations, chart
their personal course to success or feel in control of their life.
I feel my strengths are in helping people explore alternatives,
see different solutions to every challenge and encouraging creativity and
imagination.
Drawing on
my corporate, government and voluntary sector experience. I have worked across a number of industries
including: banking, hospitality, manufacturing, market research, event
management, government grants, process re-generation, recruitment, HR, tourism
and coaching.
My own
personal development stems from: being an Army Brat, attending Outward Bound in
Singapore, attaining Yellow Belt Green Tip in Tae Kwon Do, receiving the Chief
Commissioners Award, completing a Diploma in Business, work as a Lifeline
telephone counsellor, volunteering in Auckland for 6 years, being nominated by
my peers for Toastmaster of the Year in 2006, and working with exceptional
people who have so much to share.
From 2008 to 2010 I was a member of the ICF Wellington leadership team, the Toastmasters Wellington President and Immediate Past President, and was a Board Member for Dress for Success Wellington.
In my spare time I enjoy photography, playing tennis, sudoku, watching my husband play soccer, gardening, acting extra work, and time in the sun with the neighbours cats in my flowering garden.
