We have a son of 22 who suffers from depression , anxiety and low self esteem .. We have gone down many paths to get help and now think a life coach would help .. Any suggestions on a good one in Christchurch
Depression, anxiety and low self esteem can be greatly helped with a pranic healing. This is done without touching the body and removing the negative thoughts and emotions that lie within the body energy centres. I work with skype and as you are in Christchurch we can work this way at a time that suits. I am a pranic healer and teacher and more information can be found on my website: www.rainbowmountaintherapies.co.nz. If you do not have skype then an email with a photo would be enough to work with. Kind Regards Faye
Firstly it's great to know your son is open to help. I'm a Life Coach working from Tauranga but do Skype appointments. I have worked in Mental Health both as a support worker to the clients of the service and as a Fieldworker supporting the families who have a loved one with mental unwellness. I don't know of any LC working in Christchurch but if you think your son would be open to Skype ehlp then please free to contact me. If you would like to know more about me then my website is turningstonelifecoaching.com and my FB page is Turning Stone Life Coaching Tracy Kidd.
All the best to you all.
I have just answered your inquiry with information regarding the Journey and see that I have given you the phone number for Jeanette Cousins who is a Practitioner in Wanaka, Jax number is 03 382 9524
The Journey is a great therapy for helping get to the bottom of Depression. You might like to have a read of the Journey website to find out more, www.thejourney.com or contact Jax Storey a Journey Practitioner in Christchurch. Her ph. number is 03 3555240. I am a Journey Practitioner practising in Hamilton NZ and have worked successfully with people who have depression. I would be happy to talk and explain more if you wish.
I do think a Life Coach can help for sure and sorry do not know of any in Christchurch. I used to be an Occupational Therapist and worked in mental health for a while. Perhaps an OT in a mental health service could be of help. Good luck.
There are so many different ways through what your son is experience which may require a balance of medication, some form of doing, activity and mindfulness. This would be a start. Take care.
