HI i SEEM TO BE LOCKED INTO A CYCLE VERY DOWN SOMETIMES AND STRUGGLING WITH OUR DIFFICULT FINANCIAL SITUATION AND NEEDING TO FIND EMPLOYMENT ...HAVE BECOME QUITE RECLUSIVE AS A RESULT..BUT DO SOME VOLUNTEERING TO GET ME OUT AND ABOUT
yes well done to ask for help, that is always the first step. It is very good advice to keep a book of gratitude and remember what you are grateful for. Yet sometimes in a dark and down phase it is the last thing we want to be doing..i have been there. Maybe you thik about a time when you were very happy and financial things were not even worth a thought..once you feel the feeling of that time of happyness, freedom and joy in you heart, give thanks to that time and how it made you feel then. Practicing this every so often or daily if you want, does work wonders. and yes, going into the forest , near the sea connecting with animals helps to maintain a balanced state of mind. Later you could join a meditation group in your area, or a laughter yoga group if you find one. Check out my website about laughter yoga on vitalessenz.co.nz best wishes , Love and Light Marianne
Congratulations, you have taken step one to getting out of your difficult situation. Volunteering to help someone else is a great way to get out of your own way for a spell. When you are in the process of helping someone else, make sure you focus on their needs and that you're not looking inwards. I'm sure you would not want to project your own sadness onto you helpee.
Here are some other suggestions for you. Go for a walk in a park, by a river, over the hills. Getting out in nature and observing your beautiful surroundings will enable feelings of appreciation to flow through you. And before you go out, make an affirmation of some kind: 'I am on the way to improving my financial situation'; 'I am on the verge of finding satisfying employment'; 'I am a lively and energetic person'; 'God/The Universe is on my side and my life is unfolding graciously'. Make up your own affirmations....
Keep a Gratitude Book by your bedside and at the end of every day write down three things for which you are grateful. Very soon you will perceive life as a happy adventure. Just do it :-)
