Q I have heard that TuiNa is helpful in reducing he pain and stiffness associated with tendonitis of the shoulder. I have calcium deposits in the shoulder muscles from past injury. The pain and stiffness is increasing and causing sleep depravation. The Dr has recommended a cortisone injection. Would TuiNa help? Would it be a more long term solution? Costs? ACC? Hamilton practitioners of TuiNa?

A Also, I saw they do NuiNa

A Hi there,
I was moved to hear of your plight. I have worked with many people who were destined for the surgeon's table, and thankfully I have been able to reverse many of their conditions so surgery was not a last resort option for them. I don't work with TuiNa and unfortunately I am based out of Papamoa, Bay Of Plenty.. however I have done a bit of digging for you and have found someone in Hamilton who may be able to help you. I, myself work predominantly with Acupressure and these people look like they have some pretty powerful combinations of things to offer AND they are ACC registered.

I would love to know how you get on :D Here is their link http://www.balancetcm.co.nz/Home.html
