I have been working with both hypnotherapy and therapeutic massage for seven years.  I particularly like working with people who wish to stop smoking, who are due to have an operation and mums to be for the birthing process.  I find that hypnotherapy works well and that clients have been very happy with the results.  Other areas I have experience in are: stress, exam nerves, sleep.

Testimonials

Hypnotherapy

  1. I had been smoking for 19 years and tried unsuccessfully to quit smoking a number of times using books, patches, cold-turkey and chewing gum methods. I turned to Karin to help me and had my last cigarette 5 minutes before my first session. It gave me the support that all of the other methods lacked to help me get over ‘The Hump’. I haven’t had one since. Thank you for helping me to change my life for the better, Karin. I have no hesitation in absolutely recommending Karin’s professional hypnotherapy service.”

  1. Faced with the prospect of having neck surgery I was feeling somewhat nervous, particularly as the appointment loomed closer and closer.
I understand the power of the mind, so chose to have hypnotherapy with Karin Hulme.
I found the two session’s incredibly beneficial, taking time out from an otherwise busy life to visualise, focus and relax.

On the day of my surgery I felt totally calm, and focused and thought it interesting that my heart rate and blood pressure were measured as normal. Post-surgery I was discharged a day early.

I would certainly recommend Hypnotherapy with Karin Hulme @ Body and Mind.

  1. My hypnobirthing sessions taught me to focus on the word "release" when I felt contractions which helped heaps with Finns labour.

I would visualize my body slowly and gently releasing Finn - was quite  a powerful feeling and gave me a lot of confidence.

I slipped into fear thoughts with my first sons (Jamies) labour and that made it harder and more painful. Fear = muscles contract = pain :)
