What we feel directly impacts on the results we get. Most people who want to release excess fat cannot see, feel or imagine themselves being healthy, toned, flexible, slim and sexy! Instead we: 1.Constantly call ourselves nasty names 2. Endlessly think about how hard it is to lose weight, 3. Incessantly give ourselves a hard time When we want to release excess weight, we put all our energy and effort into the physical side. We go on a diet and get into and exercise programme. We get very involved in the “doing” part of the process and spend very little time or energy on the “being” part. The “being” part is finding loving and supportive ways to think and therefore feel about ourself When we can tell our self (and therefore feel) daily 1) How wonderful we are (and mean it), 2) How easy it is to release the excess weight 3) How much fun life can be when we feel, slim, sexy, toned and healthy Then our weight release journey will be much easier and simple and create wonderful long term results. So how can we approach life from this “being” part to promote weight release and greater joy in our life? 1. Focus on what you do want and how you want to feel 2. Become aware of thoughts and how that makes you feel. 3. Write at least 6 things that you like about your amazing body each day 4. Really appreciate how amazing your body is and how it works for you 5. Pat yourself on the back often and acknowledge how well you are doing I know that as we get to appreciate and love ourselves more and more, as we learn to be kind to ourselves, the excess weight is much easier to release. EFT is the perfect tool to do just this. EFT will unlock the self sabotaging beliefs that cause us to retain the weight. EFT will allow us to feel good about ourselves no matter what. Once we feel that, releasing excess weight becomes easy. We find we are able to care for our body from a very caring place.
