Is it really “all in my head”?

Why can’t I shake it off?

What causes this debilitating fatigue?

How can I get my energy back?

Why me? – Anyone can get Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS).  It is not hereditary. CFS can come about when we have trouble coping with stress and things that go ‘wrong’ in our lives.

Is it “all in my head”? – It is not “all in your head”. – CFS is a glandular disorder created by the body when we don’t have the skills to respond appropriately to stress and ‘rubbish’ that ‘life’ dishes up.

What causes CFS? Sometimes we don’t even recognise what’s bothering us; we just feel hurt or angry or fearful or sad.  When we don’t know what to do about it we tend to ‘close up’ and hold the pain inside ourselves (where it can create illness, such as CFS). While these problems stay in our lives or keep repeating because we are not dealing with them, our bodies try to tell us in the only way they know how, by creating physical ‘symptoms’ that we cannot ignore.  This is because our bodies are trying to get our attention – they want us to do something to solve the problem.  Strong symptoms certainly do get our attention, we can’t ignore them.

How can I get my energy back?
Our wonderful bodies are designed to ‘self-heal’ – just as a grazed knee will be painful and bleed at first (Stage one – getting our attention and cleaning the wound), then form a scab (Stage two – temporary/interim solution), and eventually heal itself by growing new skin (Stage three – permanent solution).  With CFS the healing process is much more subtle, and needs our cooperation for it to work. Like the grazed knee, CFS still has definite stages that we can learn to understand and respond to.

STAGE ONE  symptoms that we notice

things like: deep fatigue, unlike ordinary tiredness; ‘foggy’ thinking and trouble concentrating; sleep disturbance or
trouble getting to sleep; aches and pains, especially in our joints and muscles; maybe a feeling of coming down with the flu – but not quite getting there.  These are things we definitely notice – so our body has got our attention!

STAGE TWO  we learn to understand what our body is trying to tell us – with these symptoms.

This is where we need help.  We need to learn our body’s ‘language’, ie the message carried by
the symptom; what our body is trying to tell us; what it wants us to DO –
to allow it to stop creating the symptom.

STAGE THREE  we respond to our body’s ‘message’ (the symptom)

by doing or saying something to deal with the stresses and problems in our life.  This might mean speaking up to someone who is acting unfairly, or walking away from a distressing situation, or taking some other action to begin solving a problem.  The symptom is then not needed any more; it has done its job to get our attention and get a response from us, so it just fades away and then stops altogether.

Who can help me?

Stage One– CFS people are already in this stage, noticing symptoms and suffering with them.

Stage Two– most people need help to understand the message behind the symptom. Reverse Therapy is a proven Process – to teach you how to tune-in to your body’s natural wisdom and learn to understand its way of communicating with you via the symptoms.

Stage Three – with help from a trained and experienced practitioner, you can learn how to ‘read’ the symptoms and respond in the most effective way to reduce symptoms quickly and then, with coaching, gain the skills to keep them away.

How can I find long-term relief and look forward to a positive, healthy future?

When your body notices that you are dealing with the matter and the problem is now ‘fixed’ it can drop the symptoms for good, because it knows it can trust you in future to deal with issues in the moment, rather than’ bottle them up’ inside yourself (and create illness).   An experienced practitioner can teach and coach you to notice your body’s subtle messages (feelings, sensations, emotions) and respond early on by speaking up and dealing with life’s ‘curve-balls’ as they occur, thus preventing any need for stronger messages (symptoms) in future. Sure, some problems will still knock you from time to time, but you will then have the skills to cope – and stay well for life.

Discover the natural way to understand and respond to your body’s  messages(via symptoms) – to end the on-going fatigue, brain fog, sleep problems, aches and pains – and other associated symptoms.

To summarise, YOU can:
•    Learn this simple but powerful method to become well again.
•    Learn how to turn off the symptoms, and keep them away – for good.
•    Understand your body’s unique language:
      - why your body creates chronic fatigue symptoms,

      - how these symptoms are messages from your body, and
      - how to respond, so your body can stop creating them.

You CAN learn to achieve these results for yourself (with guidance and support).
