Q i am so very tired and struggle to function at times, i have been told i have chronic fatigue syndrom so what can i do to help myself?

A It is important to support your immune system and also make sure that there are no foods which may be causing an issue for you. Initially, consider eliminating processed foods and focusing on whole foods (lots of fruit and veges). Eliminating any lingering viral infections is also important. Don't try to push yourself too hard - be kind to yourself. Work within your limits. Have you also had tests to check your iron levels, and thyroid? Or any other form of anaemia? Any significant deficiency could cause extreme tiredness. Naturopathic support, which will guide you through diet, lifestyle choices, herbal medicine and nutritional protocols could be helpful for you. They will also investigate your past health history and work to find the underlying cause(s). Remember baby steps and you will slowly and gently works towards your goal.

A Chronic Fatigue syndrome can be traced to a few different things. I primarily work in the field of disrupted meridian flows. Our meridians are an advanced network of superhighways which deliver vital energy our bodies and if they get blocked from flowing from things like accidents, emotional trauma (deaths, break ups, low self esteem issues etc), negative though processes and also vulnerability to stress. When these meridians are blocked from flowing for long enough pain, suffering, energy imbalance occurs. I have had great results with clients presenting with Fibromyalgia and similar. If you are in the Tauranga area, I welcome you to contact me, otherwise I would recommend seeking someone with a Traditional Chinese Acupuncture background or someone amazing who does The Reconnection.
