I'm sure alot of ladies feel like I do. Pressures if a young family supporting hubby with his work, working a demanding job as well as juggling kids and household duties.
I'm tired, I'm 30kg overweight, I have a constant headache, I feel undervalued by my husband, I have no sex drive, I feel like a moaning angry person.. as there's not much I smile about.
I went to the Dr for all the blood test under the sun. All came back fine. He's put me on amitriptyline hcl. I haven't started taking them yet. I'm 36 and I've never been down this road. The thought of not being alert for my kids during the night scares me.
I need an alternative.. I'm not sure where to go. I have a physical job and easily clock 10km a day as well as heavy lifting.. i eat well 90% of the time. I cant shake the weight since having kids. I just feel like I'm living with a major hangover all the time.
Please. What can you suggest?
I need to be me again.

Hi. Well I would like to honour you for reaching out and asking for a way to feel better about yourself without drugs. There are many ways you can be supported and I offer you a FREE 45-minute chat to get you started. May I also suggest a few ideas to get you started on the road to loving yourself again. 1) 'take a breath' and BE in the present moment as often as you can. 2) Honour yourself for being a mother. 3) Take a moment in nature. Even better a little walk. 4) Make time for you, even if it is only 5 minutes to start with. 5) Honour your amazing ability to 'juggle' life for everyone around you. No easy task. 6) There are many reasons for weight not being how you want it to be. Emotion is high on the list. 7) Find three things that make you smile, laugh and giggle and keep those at the forefront of your mind, so you can distract yourself when you feel sad and angry. 8) Patience with you. Take care of yourself. Linda. www.lindawoodgate.com
