Q Hi, my daughter has glandular fever, are there any medications/treatments that will help her recover quickly.

A I would suggest ozone therapy with ultraviolet blood irradiation. I see a lot of chronic fatigue cases with histories of glandular fever. The UV will eradicate the virus rapidly and prevent sequelae such as chronic fatigue.
The treatment is done intravenously.
How old is your daughter?
We usually obtain a speedy recovery.

A Hi there. The first recommendation that I have for you is to avoid paracetamol. This drug suppresses the immune response, and does not support complete resolution of the condition. This can lead to long-term consequences. There are a myriad of ways to support the immune system. As glandular fever is a viral infection, vitamin C comes to the top of the list. I was once involved in the treatment of early-onset glandular fever with intravenous vitamin C - the patient was fully recovered after 5 days!. Are you able to call the clinic, or pop in - I can talk you through some strategies.
Kind regards

A yes, Glandular Fever is a treatable condition with Acupuncture and Herbs. It is important to overcome this condition as quickly as possible as there can be side effects later on in life if GF is left and nothing is done like lethargy. In Chinese medicine it is regarded as a "hot" condition and cooling herbs are used to create a balance in the body. If your child is older than 8, then I would suggest some Acupuncture. Good luck

A Hi There
Lymphatic Enhancement therapy (LET) can definitely help with this as one of its main influences is on the immune system which is compromised with glandular fever. It is a very gentle, lymphatic approach but extremely effective in enhancing and bolstering the functioning of the immune system which is necessary in recovery from this condition. Hope this helps...Pip Charlton
