Network Spinal Analysis™ care is an evidence based approach to wellness and body awareness. Gentle precise touch to the spine cues the brain to create new wellness promoting strategies. Two unique healing waves develop that are associated with the spontaneous release of spinal and life tensions, and the use of existing tension as fuel for spinal re-organization and enhanced wellness.

Practitioners combine their clinical assessments of spinal changes with the patient’s self assessments of wellness and life changes. Greater self-awareness and a conscious awakening of the relationships between the body, mind, emotion, and expression of the human spirit are realized through this popular healing work.

NSA practitioners may use gentle and specific touches in a consistent sequence, where the spinal cord attaches to the spine. This movement pattern helps the client's body to learn to release complex patterns of tension and areas of disablement. Once this has been achieved, a further unwinding of deeper tensions from the spine occurs. These 'touches' consist of gentle finger or hand contacts applied at 'spinal gateways or 'access points' along the neck and lower spine. They are applied in such a way as to engage the higher part of the brain, the frontal lobes of the cerebral cortex. This is the most recently developed region of our brain and is the area through which we observe ourselves and make choices regarding our behaviour. This is the area through which we can reach a higher level of humanity, one which embraces spirituality and evolution.

During Network Spinal Analysis sessions, two 'healing waves' develop. One is a breathing wave which releases tension throughout the spine and body and relaxes a person. The other is called somatopsychic (or body-mind) wave™, which is associated with undulation or movement of the spine.

It is wise to carry out some research and select a therapist who is either a member of, or accredited by, an association or professional body such as the NZ Chiropractor Association. NSA practitioners and Chiropractors are obligated to a code of ethics and procedure that determines the therapy is carried out in a suitable and safe environment.  These regulations also guarantee a specialist who has undergone certifiable training and receives professional upskilling.

The Wellness Directory provides a ready-made referral list of certified NSA practitioners and Chiropractors within your region.  We fully encourage you to do some independent research by checking out individual credentials, i.e. experience, training, qualifications, relevant client feedback and so forth.
