Q Hi - this is a wonderful service by the way!! Could anyone pls let me know any suitable natural health products for reducing eczema on the chest/back and any effective (shampoo?) products for the scalp - to reduce the redness? I've tried more medicated products but am very intersted in a natural non-invasive approach. Any suggestions really appreciated. Thanks. Mark

A Sort yourself out from the inside. The skin is the 'third kidney' and excretes a lot of your body's toxic waste. There's a good chance that your eczema is a reflection of inner disruption. Make contact and we can have a free introductory chat so I can assess your challenges. Astarte

A Great results have been achieved with using the 'Pot of Gold' balm which is very natural and made from beeswax and tree resin. Another product I promote is the 'Natural Clay' which can be taken as a detox to clear the body of toxins or using it as a balm on the eczema areas of the body. Both products are on my website www.rainbowmountaintherapies.co.nz. For shampoo I would recommend one that definately does not have sodium lauryl sulphate in as this is a skin irritant, the 'Sukin' products are very good. Feel free to contact me if you require further help, details on the web. All the best Mark.

A I have a natural healing cream that is effective for all sorts of skin problems. It relieves athletes foot in two or three days, and may well help your eczema problem. Alternatively, Reiki has been known to give excellent results. If you contact me, I'd be happy to send you a free sample of my cream, and more than happy to see you for Reiki, if you live in my area.

A HI
my approach to skin things is to a) get a really good naturopath to check you for toxicity, (ever had any amalgam fillings?) or b) I would work with you to explore what is stressing your skin out in terms of mental/emotional patterns. we could be cliched and ask whats rubbing you up the wrong way, who/whats under your skin, whats overheating you (your condition could be described as an expression of "heat" in chinese medicine) ... or we could just ask your skin whats it up to.
Unless you have had an impact injury anywhere on your body in the month or 2 leading up to the eczema starting, in which case we should sort that.
In my experience skin stuff is never a surface issue, and if its recurring, creams etc are only covering up the symptom of a deeper cause

good luck, call if you want to go exploring
