-Diagnosed with Endometriosis
-Surgery for Endo
-Suggested Diagnosis of Chronic Fatigue, ongoing pain in back, neck, hands and headaches, depression, anxiety. Everyday is a struggle no energy and food doesn't make a difference.
-Children are exhausting and working but feel like this on days where I get sleep ins too.
-Adrenal Fatigue Diagnosis also mentioned plus now Hyperventilation

Please help or point me in the right direction, can't carry on like this.

Hi Tired Twin Mummy
I agree that these symptoms are all related. Your body is showing you how exhausted you really are. Craving sweet foods is a n indication of this -when we are exhausted, we have no choice but to go for sugar or caffeine (or both). As a working mother of twins, your exhaustion is understandable. However, it is possible to do everything you need to do in the day and still have energy left over at the end. It is a question of making the right choices for your body (food, exercise, sleep, routines, rhythms, meditation, other lifestyle factors). This sounds simply -and it is -but it can be challenging to put into practice. If you need support and you live in Auckland area, you are very welcome to give m a call.
There are obviously many causes to your problem. Most will overlap. One thing you could look at is whether you have the a genetic single neucleotide polymorphism (SNIP) within the haeme pathway where you may be producing low levels of haeme (symptoms of tiredness joint and muscle pain etc) and an overproduction of pyrroles (Pyroluria). Check symptoms etc online but one key problem is the inability to produce serotonin required to inhibit pain, to sleep, for smooth muscle function.
There's heaps of excellent advice in these responses. Filtering the best solution from this array may be difficult. I'll share with you my personal experience that has helped me resolve a series of stubborn issues.
I've been researching and experimenting on my own IBS/CFS-type conditions for 30 years. During this time I found a diet that works well for my body and helped eliminate the devastating fungal infections in the body. I was left with residual health challenges and finally consulted with a qualified GP who also has naturopathic training. He works at a wellness clinic in Auckland, (I live in Palmerston North), though I understand there are others in Wellington, Hawkes Bay and Christchurch. We consult via Skype and he sends me the blood test forms which I get locally. Then we consult again and he tries out protocols that include natural hormone therapy, vitamins, minerals, amino acids and herbs. As a direct result of addressing the imbalances in my body I am feeling stronger now than I have in years. My recommendation is to look for a wellness clinic in your area via Google.
Dear tired one - your story is typical of the cases Reverse Therapy helps all the time. There IS hope, you can become well. Your symptoms are caused by an out-of-kilter hypothalamus (in the Limbic System of the brain). I can help you correct this by finding the cause - not just treating the symptoms. Once I show you how to settle your hypothalamus it can stop creating symptoms. In other words, together we can reverse your symptoms, and you can learn how to do this for yourself, to become well and stay well. See 'Reverse Therapy' wellness page for more information. I am ready to help you. - regards, Nola
These symptoms are all very familiar to me and believe it or not all interrelated. I specialize in CFS, Adrenal Fatigue and other chronic illnesses after having got myself well, and since trained in specialist treatments for these conditions. In a nutshell, any symptoms are symptomatic of 'dis-ease' and once that is rectified the body will self heal. My recommendation is you do find someone who specializes in this or will you spend lots of money going to people who are generalists - a bit like going to a GP vs a specialist. cheers Kim artofhealth.co.nz
Hello there, thats a long list and a long time to feel unwell and overwhelmed. I agree with previous response, that it is very important you get a thorough assessment by a Naturopath. I specialise in practitioner supported Detoxification Programs in particular heavy (HM) chelation and detox. HM's interfere with the biochemistry in the body and are often associated with all the sorts of symptoms you're experiencing. Upbeat Health is in Katikati and whilst I do like to see new clients face-to-face initially, I also use Skype for consultations. If you would like further information on this subject, to help you decide if we might provide you with some answers, please call me for a complimentary 10 minute chat. Kind wish and all the best, jenny@upbeat
Hi "Busy Tired Twin Mommy".
That's far to long a list for anyone to feel good with! I'm unable to give you great advice, other than to recommend that you make a decision as to the modality that you wish to work with. Then decide on what kind of background and experience works for you. But the very least would be a thorough background and history, physical assessment as a starting point.
My recommendation would be to work with someone with a naturopathic qualification. Or supervised student clinics at one of the naturopathic colleges (takes more time but it lower cost).
All the best
Hi Busy Tired Twin Mommy
Your story is not an uncommon one and one that conventional medical approaches often don't have the answers or solutions to. There are a variety of different approaches that could be helpful to you but given the possible adrenal fatigue, breathing issues, chronic fatigue I would strongly recommend Lymphatic Enhancement Therapy. LET aims to stimulate the lymphatic system and immune function of the body and is is a very gentle modality which helps put the body into a relaxed restorative parasympathetic state as opposed to a busy stressful sympathetic state. Because of the work that is done on the abdominal area it also impacts positively on digestion, kidney function (and by association adrenal function) and re-energizes the body.LET varies considerably from traditional lymphatic drainage and is definitely worth considering, checkout out my website for further information and contact details, www.pipcharlton.co.nz.... It sounds to me like you have a long-term chronic situation going on that just pops up ;new' symptoms as it continues to be unresolved.
I would suggest you look at the big picture and at Homeopathy to help solve your issues, rather than look at them in isolation of each other.
If you wish to make an appointment with me you are able to book online and choose a time that suits you at www.marytonnerconsulting.gettimely.com
I look forward to helping you with this and get your life back on track. Regards, Mary
