Q We are on holiday and have hurt my back. I have been to the Medical Centre in Wanaka who has given me pain medication, andI also saw an acupuncturist in Wanaka. He has brought some relief to my back but I have constant pain in my right leg , thigh and shin and knee. It is a constant throb, I don't feel that medication is working as good as it could be, I am up at least twice in the night taking more meds - includes tramadol, paracetamol and voltaren. I am not comfortable with the amount of pain killersI am taking. The injury is now over a week old. We are travelling from Te Anau to Invercargill today, Sunday, and would like treatment asap. We will only be in Invercargill from 13th to 16th March. many thanks Sue

A Hello Sue
You may have to ring around. I'm not sure who is in Invercargill to give you Acupuncture. I would also recommend seeing an Osteopath if you can. I'm in Auckland so cannot help you. Hope it goes well for you
